Designing iBIBLE Genesis Graphic Novel

RevelationMedia is designing graphic novels based on each iBIBLE episode. These books will be released in several volumes, spanning all of RevelationMedia’s iBIBLE content. Check out the iBIBLE website at www.i.BIBLE to watch all of the episodes including iBIBLE Genesis!

Each spread of the graphic novel, which consists of two pages facing each other, is designed in Adobe Photoshop by a graphic designer. It is then put through several rounds of editing to ensure the text, graphics, and overall images are true to the corresponding iBIBLE episode. This image shows the first draft of Episode 2, Spread 5, including text and graphics.

This next image shows the next round of edits added by our graphic designer. This design updated the light (used to represent God) to be larger and softer on both pages.

Lastly, in this image, you can see the change in the background color for the memory verses (bottom right) as well as more overlapping butterflies in the bottom left graphic. This makes the spread as visually appealing as possible.
