iBIBLE Life of Christ Episode 4 Sneak Peek
RevelationMedia is continuing to design settings and characters for our new 3D-animated installment of iBIBLE called Life of Christ. The first three episodes are available to view now at www.i.BIBLE!
This week, get a sneak peek into the opening sequence of iBIBLE Life of Christ Episode 4 with a look at how our artists and animators meticulously craft each element of the story. Each scene of iBIBLE is carefully researched and designed piece-by-piece to be as accurate and engaging as possible.
This first image shows the initial storyboarding for one angle of the opening scene. This is how the artists give the ideas to the animators, and then the animators can use it as a reference to build the characters and settings. On the far left you will see the wise men on camels entering Jerusalem with people watching them throughout the storyboard.
This next image shows screenshots of the original design with edits added to refine the design. You can see edits concerning shadows on the general image as well as edits on the first wise man’s clothing and beard. Editing is a particular and tedious process, paying attention even to the specific shadows based on the direction of the sunlight.
Lastly, you can see a sped-up GIF of the initial animation for the opening sequence of iBIBLE Life of Christ Episode 4, taking into account the storyboard and notes from above. This is just an initial design; the audio, text, and detailed visuals will be added later in production.
