3D Images in the Creation of iBIBLE
As iBIBLE New Testament episodes are being illustrated, new techniques have been created to improve the detail in each shot. Take a behind-the-scenes sneak peek at a new technique with these brand new shots of Zechariah and Elizabeth!
In the bustling streets of the Jerusalem market, Zechariah and his wife Elizabeth are shown traveling to the temple. The scene of Zechariah and Elizabeth is the first one to be released that shows the new advancements in the creation of iBIBLE episodes. Below is a 3D rendering that was created of a Jerusalem street.
The 3D scene helps the artists understand placement and details, and allows the scene to be used again from different angles. Then, the iBIBLE artists trace over the set 3D scene to add more details.
Once the scene is traced over, then characters and animals are added. Because the 3D scene creation and tracing helps lower the time and effort spent on backgrounds, artists are able to spend more time on the details of the characters. This new technology means that the emotions and environment of a scene can convey messages of their own to the viewer, as well as helping to make a scene interesting and beautiful to look at.
