iBIBLE | Chapter 2 Video Sample -"The Fall"
Previously, we shared with you a prerelease of iBIBLE Chapter Four: “The Great Flood (Part 1).” We are now excited to share a second prerelease chapter of iBIBLE with you this week: Chapter 2: “The Fall.”
In this chapter, we show the events of the Fall, when sin entered into the world through Adam and Eve. This event instantly altered the relationship that humans and God shared. It is no understatement to say that this event changed absolutely everything! As you watch this special prerelease, you can see the stunning artwork that helps bring God’s Word to life.
iBIBLE Chapter 2: “The Fall” was an exciting chapter to create. The goal was to bring the story to life through dramatic audio and visuals without deviating from the Scriptural account. This is the unique thing about iBIBLE: the script follows as closely to the Biblical account as possible and presents God’s Word in a chronological format. We do not add or take away from what God’s Word says.
In the creation of iBIBLE, there are unique things that need to be researched and executed well in order to convey the story as it is presented in the Bible. For example, in showing the events surrounding the Fall, we were confronted with the question: how do we illustrate the change that Adam and Eve experienced once they ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? To convey the cosmic ramifications of their actions, we chose to illustrate a change in their environment. The peaceful, warm, and bright colors of the garden shift to the cold, dark, and stormy tones of a world riddled with sin. Take notice of this lighting change in the video.
It is a unique blessing and calling from God to use our time conveying what occurs in the Biblical narrative. Some other things we had to consider when creating iBIBLE Chapter 2 were:
• What did the serpent look like before the curse?
• What did the tree of the knowledge of good and evil look like?
• What kind of fruit was on the tree?
• What did the tree of life look like?
We are excited to be able to share this with you, and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it! There are many more iBIBLE chapters nearing completion. We look forward to sharing them with you as they are ready.
Thank you for walking with us on this journey. Our mission remains the same: to create a visual and interactive presentation of God’s Word and to distribute it for free to the world. We appreciate your encouragement, financial support, and prayers as we complete this God-sized task.
