Continuing Designs for iBIBLE Genesis Graphic Novel
RevelationMedia is continuing our designs for graphic novels based on each iBIBLE episode. These books will be released in several volumes, eventually spanning all of RevelationMedia’s iBIBLE content. Check out the iBIBLE website at www.i.BIBLE to watch all of the episodes, including the first three episodes of iBIBLE Life of Christ, which were released on Easter Sunday 2025!
Each spread of the graphic novel, which consists of two pages facing each other, is designed in Adobe Photoshop by a graphic designer. It is then put through several rounds of editing to ensure the text, graphics, and overall images are true to the corresponding iBIBLE episode.
This image shows the designs for Episode 5, Spread 1. The image on the left is the initial design. After editing, the spread was changed to the image on the right to prioritize narrative flow and to emphasize certain figures in and aspects of the story. More changes may still occur as the editing team compares the iBIBLE script to the text and as they find edits on designs.
The images below show designs for Episode 7, Spread 3 about the Tower of Babel. The image on the left is the initial design. During initial edits, it was decided to make the middle left drawing a half-page spread. The other images were changed as well, with some even being moved to other spreads. This allows for better narrative flow while prioritizing design and text placement.
