Zechariah in the Temple: A Glimpse into iBIBLE's New 3D Animation Style

In today’s behind-the-scenes glimpse into the creation of iBIBLE, see these vivid 3D scenes from iBIBLE Life of Christ: Gabriel Visits the Virgin Mary. The images below show Zechariah bringing incense into the temple.

Episode production for iBIBLE Life of Christ is now underway. It is incredibly exciting to be able to start animating the New Testament! Below you’ll find a sneak peek of iBIBLE Life of Christ in the new 3D-animation style, which will allow RevelationMedia to produce episodes much faster while still abiding by a high artistic and visual standard.

Here is a beautiful image of the temple gates in Jerusalem, where a crowd watches Zechariah bring his sacrifice to the Lord as recorded in Luke 1. The temple gates were facing eastward, and this was a morning ceremony. So, the sun would have been low in the sky and gleaming brightly on the scene.

The image below captures Zechariah as he’s passing through the praying crowd with his container of incense. See the lifelike features and the animation's ability to capture even the concentrated expression of his eyes, bringing this character to life.

Finally, this is an image of the Bronze Sea (also known as the Molten Sea or the Brazen Sea), a massive tub of water that the priests would draw from to ceremonially cleanse themselves before entering the temple. Again, the attention to detail here is meticulous, and the animation style is able to bring you into the scene in a powerful way.
