The Great Flood (Part 1)
Last Sunday, we shared our prerelease edit of iBIBLE Chapter 4: "The Great Flood (Part 1)." We are excited to now include it in our Behind the Scenes updates. The version below will be used online, with video projection, and on DVD. The version for the phone app will also include the ability for the user to turn each page at their own pace as they engage with God's Word.
As you watch this special prerelease video, you can see the beautiful artwork that helps bring God’s Word to life! What you may not immediately realize is that the script follows the Scriptures as closely as possible in a narrative format. No dialogue has been added, no additions are made to the story, and it is presented chronologically. This is the way all of iBIBLE will be presented, holding true to the Divine Narrative of the Holy Bible. We believe that iBIBLE is the first of its kind.
When completed, we estimate that iBIBLE will be no less than 150 chapters long, and will include over 18 hours of Biblical content. A resource section for teachers, parents, and students is already underway!
This is an exciting time. It was over three years ago that we first had the vision to animate the entire Biblical narrative. We spent over two of those years testing different formats and technologies. While it was a long and frequently difficult journey, we couldn’t be more pleased to finally see iBIBLE come to life!
There are many more chapters in various stages of production, and as each one nears completion, we will share them with you first. We welcome your comments, suggestions, and prayers.
